💬 Meaning in English:

When someone or something is “solid as a rock,” it means they are very strong, stable, and reliable. Just like a real rock doesn’t move or break easily, a person who is “solid as a rock” can be trusted and stays calm in difficult situations.

🇪🇸 Significado en español:

Cuando decimos que alguien es “fuerte como una roca,” queremos decir que es una persona firme, estable y en la que se puede confiar. También se usa para hablar de algo muy resistente.

ARTS: TESSELATION

Have you ever seen a pattern that looks like it goes on forever? That’s called a tessellation! 🧩

A tessellation happens when shapes fit together perfectly, with no gaps or overlaps — just like puzzle pieces.

In this activity, you’ll create your own 3D tessellation by coloring one of the two designs from the sheet I gave you. Each design is made of repeated shapes (triangles or diamonds). If you use three tones of the same color — light, medium, and dark — your flat drawing will look 3D!

¿Has visto alguna vez un dibujo que parece no terminar nunca? ¡Eso es una teselación! 🧩

Una teselación ocurre cuando las formas encajan perfectamente, sin huecos ni superposiciones — como las piezas de un puzle.

En esta actividad, vas a crear tu propia teselación en 3D coloreando una de las dos plantillas que te he dado. Cada diseño está formado por formas repetidas (triángulos o rombos). Si usas tres tonos del mismo color — claro, medio y oscuro — tu dibujo plano parecerá salirse del papel.
