January 30th, we
are celebrating Peace Day.
There’ll be an act in
the patio where we all will show the way we understand it through different
visual and art techniques we’ve done on a piece of paper.
After that we’ll form a poster
joining all of them.
Finally there’ll be a mini
concert in honour of Jose Ignacio, a dearly teacher from our school who died
this year. We’ll sing and play with the flutes the “Imagine” from John Lennon.
Here is a video and the lyrics for you to practice.
JOHN LENNON
"Imagine"
"Imagine"
Imagine there's
no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today...
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today...
Imagine there's
no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace...
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace...
You may say I'm
a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no
possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
a brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
sharing all the world...
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
a brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
sharing all the world...
You may say I'm
a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one
