ART AND CRAFT

The activities we are going to do this term are:

v Cupcakes

v Bottle decoupage

v Activities with different kind of papers

v A storytelling

v Mail boxes

We need an empty carton of milk.

o    First we clean it really well to avoid any possible smell.

o    Second we unfold the upper flaps.

o    Third we cut them out.

o    Fourth we wrap it using coloured adhesive paper to hide all the ads.

o    Fifth we use the shaped scissors to decorate the edges.

o    Finally we decorate our “box” using anything we want: photos, glitter, foam, stickers…

v Painting pine-cones

We need a big pine cone. It’s better if it is wide opened.

We are going to need:

·         Coloured tempera.

·         Paint brushes.

·         An empty  mini candle base.

·         Plasticine.

·         Glitter.

We have to colour the edges of the pinecone inside and outside, using a different combination of colours. Before it dries, we pour glitter on top of it.

When we finish, we fill the empty base with plasticine and stick the pine cone.
