I haven't played this game before, but everybody says it is fantastic!

Has anybody scored sixty points yet? Nobody in our group has.

My sister has hidden my tablet somewhere — I can't find it!

Have you ever played a board game from another country?

I have played a game called senet. It is an ancient Egyptian game.

Nobody has beaten my grandma yet, but I haven't given up!

Can anybody guess what game I am thinking of? Good luck!

Practising every day takes a lot of time. On the other hand, it helps you get much better very quickly.

DICTATION 2 UNIT 7

HERE IS THE SECOND DICTATION OF UNIT 7. PLEASE CHECK!

Something was wrong with my saxophone yesterday.

I couldn't play anything on it, so I showed it to my music teacher.

She said that everything was fine with the keys, but something was wrong with the mouthpiece.

Somebody from the music shop came to fix it.

Nobody in my class knew what the problem was.

Can everybody bring their instruments to school on Friday?

There is nothing to worry about now — my saxophone is perfect again!

Anybody can learn to play an instrument if they practise every day.

I would like to play something at the school concert in June.

I hope everybody comes to listen to us!

🧧 Chinese New Year 2026 – Year of the Horse

In Arts, we are celebrating the Chinese New Year by designing and colouring traditional bookmarks inspired by Chinese symbols and cultural elements.

This year, 2026, is the Year of the Horse in the Chinese zodiac.

🐎 What does the Horse represent?

The Horse is a symbol of:

  • Energy

  • Strength

  • Freedom

  • Enthusiasm

  • Determination

In our classroom, we connect these qualities with our learning goals. We want to be energetic learners, work with perseverance, and move forward with confidence and creativity.

🎨 What are we learning through this one day project?

While creating our bookmarks, we are exploring different traditional Chinese symbols:

  • 🐉 Dragons – symbols of power and protection

  • 🏮 Lanterns – symbols of light and hope

  • 🧨 Firecrackers – symbols of celebration and good luck

  • 🦁 The Lion Dance – symbol of prosperity and joy

  • 🧧 Red envelopes – symbols of good wishes and fortune

  • 🐾 Animals of the Chinese zodiac – each year has a special meaning

Through this activity, we are working on:

  • Line and pattern

  • Symmetry and repetition

  • Vertical composition

  • Colour harmony

  • Cultural symbolism

🌍 Why is this important?

Learning about Chinese New Year helps us understand and respect different cultures around the world. Art is a powerful way to connect with traditions and express ideas visually.

This project combines creativity, cultural awareness and English language learning in a meaningful and engaging way.

Valentine's Day

Here is a genially to practice

💗 Woven Heart – Valentine’s Activity 💗

Here is the activity we're doing for Valentin'es day!!!

I hope you enjoy!

What are we doing?

Today we are weaving a paper heart. Your heart is already prepared.

Now your job is to weave carefully and create something beautiful.

🧵 Materials

  • Heart template (already cut)

  • Small patterned paper strips

  • Glue

  • Patience 😊

How to weave

  1. Take one patterned strip.

  2. Go over – under – over – under.

  3. Push it gently to the top.

  4. Take the next strip.

  5. Start the opposite way: under – over – under – over.

  6. Continue until your heart is full.

  7. Glue the ends carefully on the back.

Take your time. Don’t rush. The strips are small!

What does this heart represent?

This heart is made of many little strips.
Each strip is different, but together they create one strong heart.

It reminds us that:

  • Every person is important.

  • We are all different.

  • When we connect, we create something beautiful.

  • Kindness joins us together.
