Today we started a new section in our Science lessons: Experiments with the Scientific Method.
Our first experiment was about the importance of washing our hands before eating.
We used a plate filledwith water and 1/4 teaspoon of pepper (representing the germs) and a drop of dish soap. When we touched the water without soap, the pepper stayed on our finger. But when we touched it with soap, the pepper moved away very quickly.
This simple activity helped us see how soap protects us from germs and keeps us healthy.
