DICTATION 2 UNIT 8

HERE IS THE DICTATION WE'VE DONE TODAY IN CLASS

Have you ever been on an exciting adventure?

My family has been on a cycling safari in Kenya.

We have seen elephants, giraffes and whales on our journey.

My dad has never been horse riding before, but he wants to try it.

I have never swum with turtles, but I have seen them from a boat.

Has your family ever visited the Northern Lights? They are beautiful!

Last summer, my friend Leilani went surfing in Hawaii. She loved it!

Have you ever been rock climbing? I went rock climbing two years ago.

I have never been skydiving — I might hurt myself!

Everybody should try at least one outdoor adventure in their life.

DICTATION 1 UNIT 8

HERE IS THE NEW DICTATION FOR YOU TO CORRECT

In our school, everybody loves playing games.

Somebody in my class has bought a new laptop and a controller.

She has collected hundreds of avatars for her favourite video game.

I haven't played this game before, but everybody says it is fantastic!

Has anybody scored sixty points yet? Nobody in our group has.

My sister has hidden my tablet somewhere — I can't find it!

Have you ever played a board game from another country?

I have played a game called senet. It is an ancient Egyptian game.

Nobody has beaten my grandma yet, but I haven't given up!

Can anybody guess what game I am thinking of? Good luck!
