'However' shows the next sentence gives a different or surprising idea. Always put a comma after 'however' at the start of a sentence. Examples:  The piano is a wonderful instrument. However, it is very heavy and difficult to move! Brass instruments look hard to play. However, many children learn the trumpet very quickly. ✏️  Tip: use 'however' in your conclusion to show a challenge or contrast.
